Connecting family, friends and alumni of Visitation Grade School in Kewanee, Illinois to build a community of support for the school.
Dear Visitation Alumni, Family, and Friends:
Join a growing number of Visitation Alumni committed to and invested in ensuring OUR school is there to educate even more Kewanee area children for years to come. Most people have never experienced a school quite like Visitation. Its rigorous curriculum and enduring friendships are things many of us continue to cherish.
For families who want to give their children a great start in life through a value-driven education rooted in the Dominican Sisters tradition of social justice, there truly is nothing like Visitation Catholic School. The combination of a Visitation education and unique small town values builds a foundation for strong spirited youth, competitive in academics and sports, with great promise toward professional careers. However, tuition alone is not sufficient enough to cover the expenses associated with running a school today. We need your support to ensure the curriculum remains strong, with advanced technologies to give Visitation the competitive edge. Your generosity makes the critical difference!
Many of our parents struggled to put us through private school and Visitation was there to help! Now, we have the chance to make a Visitation education a reality for families who want the same for their children. The school motto—“Once a Giant, Always a Giant”—aligns with the values taught to us through our Catholic education at Visitation. We must lend a hand, help those in need, fight for social justice, educate children, give back, and take care of your community. It’s time to pay it forward!
Founded in 1895, Visitation alumni and the school community have earned an enviable reputation over the past 125 years. In honor of this remarkable 120th anniversary and the thousands of children educated by Visitation, we are excited to launch an alumni-giving program. Our goal is to raise $120,000 by year-end and a commitment of 1.2 million to be raised over 10 years. A lofty goal, but one we know can be reached through the generosity of alumni, like you. Make a difference in the lives of families who want their kids to be Vis kids!
Join us! Your gift of support will ensure Visitation Catholic School remains strong! Please click here to access the pledge form.
